Tim is a trained architect and a photographer. As a professional photographer, he has
shot for numerous editorial and commercial clients including Architectural Digest, The
New York Times, Interior Design, Elle Décor, House Beautiful, Dwell, This Old House,
Business Week, Fortune, Inc, Fast Company, Forbes, Time, Smithsonian, Preservation, The
Wall Street Journal and The Washington Post.
He has personal work in private collections and is represented by Getty Images.
Tim's current personal in-process work includes two video/still image projects; the first is Hidden Histories, a multi-media project profiling the participants and pathways of the middle path of the Great Migration of 1910-1970. The second is The Right Skin: Heterotopic Terrains, a multi-media exploration that reveals the person within the process of M2F or F2M transition and their humanities.
Pro bono work includes architectural support for earthquake and infrastructure relief
efforts in Haiti in 2010 and 2011 and photography support for DIFFA, New York, a
supporter of direct care for people living with HIV/AIDS.
Tim holds both Bachelor’s and Master's degrees in Architecture at Columbia University
in New York.
